Kenny (Minh Dai) Luong – winner of the the ‘Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources Ingenuity (ISER) Prize at the Adelaide University School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Student Award and Prize Night
Congratulations to Kenny (Minh Dai) Luong who was recently presented with the ‘Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources Ingenuity (ISER) Prize at the Adelaide University School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Student Award and Prize Night (for 2025) on Friday 20th March 2026 at the National Wine Centre, Exhibition Hall with 3 other students for their Project on Australian Green Steel.
Kenny graduated from Hamilton Secondary College in 2021 (subjects included Specialist Mathematics, Maths Methods and Physics) and started a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) (Honours) at the University of Adelaide from which he graduated at the end of 2025. He worked at REDARC Technologies as a Student Engineer during his degree and is now working for REDARC as a full time Graduate Engineer.
Kenny said ‘I learnt a lot from helpful teachers and friends through my time at Hamilton, where a team of very dedicated teachers were willing to spend a lot of time with me and help me learn’.
Congratulations to Kenny and we wish him the best for his future Engineering Career (which is already off to a great start!).
