A Personalised Program
As students move into the Senior School, they are becoming more aware of their future direction. They need access to learning programs and opportunities that will help them to achieve their goals. We take the time to understand your child and the pathway that they want to pursue so that we can build a personalised program for them.
With a strong academic program offering students choice of a range of Year 12 subjects, each year our graduates gain entry to the full range of university courses. As a Registered Training Organisation, we proudly offer over 19 nationally accredited Vocational Education and Training programs for our students, with access to addition programs outside of the school. This gives them direct pathways in to further study and employment. We tailor their program to ensure that they achieve their SACE as well as a VET qualification.
SUPPORT ALONG THE WAY
We support our students to achieve their goals. All students in the Senior School have access to the Senior Study Centre. This is a designated space just for them. It is well set up to provide places for quiet study, as well as spaces that allow them to work together on collaborative tasks. Our teachers go the extra mile for your child by providing workshops during school holidays, and support outside their lesson times. We have a strong Pathways program that includes practical strategies and advice on things like time management, study skills and exam preparation. We use experts in the field, such as Elevate Education, to complement our in-house program. There are no additional fees or charges for these services. It’s all part of the service we provide to help your child to achieve their goals and dreams.
SUBJECTS
Our curriculum offerings are both academic and vocationally oriented, providing your child with opportunities to study in areas of interest and strength. We deliver Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Physics and Chemistry which will allow your child to access university course for which these may be a pre-requisite. We have a comprehensive range of nationally accredited Vocational Education and Training courses to meet the needs of students seeking a pathway into TAFE or employment.
