SACE Drama production

🎭 On Friday 29 May our talented Year 11 and 12 Drama students captivated the Friday evening audience with their moving performance of ‘Where Words Once Were’. Set in a dystopian city where the government strictly limits language to 1,000 words and pens are forbidden, the play follows young Orhan’s courageous journey as he discovers a banned pen and encounters a girl silenced by society.

The performance began with our actors challenging the audience to think of a word they could not live without setting the tone for their evocative storytelling and powerful acting. Our students brought to life the complexities of identity, freedom, and hope. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this unforgettable night of theatre at Hamilton Secondary College. We are incredibly proud of our cast and crew for their hard work and dedication!
