Girls in STEM
International Women’s Day saw the launch of our Girls in STEM program. Girls in STEM is designed to provide students with the opportunity to investigate areas of interest within STEM, including engineering, coding and robotics. Throughout the year, students will visit universities and STEM industries to learn more about future pathways and careers, connect with mentors, hear from guest speakers, and pursue individual projects. The Girls in STEM group is also organising their own Mission to Mars at the Hamilton Space School, as well as planning to expand the Girls in STEM program to connect with local primary students.
