Hamilton travelled to Mount Carmel College to take on Underdale High School and Mount Carmel College in the first round of the 11/12 Knockout Basketball competition.

In our first game against Underdale, the boys showed incredible resilience. After trailing 25–7 in the first half, Hamilton fought their way back into the contest before the team hit a clutch 3-pointer with just 10 seconds left to seal a thrilling 50–49 win.

The second game against Mount Carmel was another nail-biter, with the lead changing hands throughout and scores remaining tight right until the final moments. With the scores level and the game on the line, Austin D stepped up and hit a 3-pointer on the buzzer to win the game and send Hamilton through to the next round of the competition.
