As Principal of Hamilton Secondary College, I feel privileged to be part of this vibrant and welcoming community that has such a strong sense of pride and dedication to delivering high quality education.

We have high expectations and academic standards, with a proud record of graduates who pursue a range of university pathways or vocational courses. Our strength in STEM means that each year approximately 70% of our graduates go on to further study in STEM related fields. Our curriculum, teaching and learning is supported by state-of-the-art facilities that enhance the learning experience. With multi-million dollar specialised facilities development including new buildings underway, our learners have access to innovative learning spaces and the very latest technologies. Together, our dedicated teachers and skilled support staff are committed to delivering the highest quality education to our community.

Global citizenship is important to us. Equipping our learners with knowledge, skills and understanding that they will need to thrive in the globally competitive world is a focus of our work. With our learners coming from a multitude of countries of birth, we embrace and celebrate cultural diversity. Our students have opportunities to travel and participate in enriching cultural and curricular programs. We host a number of Study Tours from abroad each year, with our families and students enjoying hosting our international visitors in their homes.

We value the strong parent participation within the College and our partnerships with industry, business and community groups. This support enables our students to not only develop academically, but also personally and socially to become successful learners, confident and creative individuals and active and informed citizens.
