Be a part of the community

While studying at Hamilton Secondary College, international students can be hosted for a fee by Government approved local homestay families from the school community.  This provides the students with an immersive experience of life in an Australian household. Likewise, homestay families have the opportunity to engage in a community of other homestay families, learn about other cultures and make lifelong friendships.

Families can choose to host international students who are visiting the College on a short-term Study Tour or those who intend to study in Australia long-term.

All homestay accommodation is arranged by South Australian Government Schools through the International Education Services office at the Department of Education and Child Development and is supported by the school.
